A platform for First Nations creativity and opportunity.

ḺUNDU is a Yolŋu-led platform, grounded in East Arnhem Land, creating real-world opportunities for First Nations creatives in remote communities.

ḺUNDU was built on the strength of relationships, shared values and a belief in what becomes possible when we invest in Yolŋu creativity and leadership. Yolŋu creativity, knowledge and capability already exist. ḺUNDU helps create the work, connections and visibility that can open the next opportunity.

Through creative production, paid work, mentorship and industry connection, we create opportunities designed to ripple outward, strengthening capability, relationships, visibility and economic participation across remote communities.

On Country

Real productions delivered in community, not for it.

Industry-connected

Established fashion, media and production networks to build on.

Our approach:
Build the creative ecosystem, not just the program.

The model brings learning into real work. First Nations creatives work alongside experienced creative professionals on genuine productions, building experience, credits, relationships and income while contributing meaningfully to the work. At the same time, those professionals get to work alongside First Nations creatives, build relationships with East Arnhem Land and learn from First Nations knowledge, creativity, leadership and Country.

Both contribute. Both connect. Both learn.

This is not training delivered into community. It is an exchange built through real work.

Yolŋu capability is the starting point. We do not communicate from deficit.

Real work is the vehicle. Learning, mentorship and professional development happen through genuine creative opportunities.

Relationships make the work possible. Everything we do is built on trust and long-term relationships.

Reciprocity matters. Knowledge, creativity and learning move in both directions.

Visibility should lead somewhere. Reach alone is not success. We care about the relationships, recognition and opportunities visibility can create.

Culture, consent and integrity come first. Community consent, cultural authority, ICIP and cultural protocols come before publication, always.
