40+ young emerging female hair stylists trained, 2024 to 2025.
Schwarzkopf’s lead stylists ran three days of hands-on training. On day four, the emerging stylists led the hair on a photoshoot, bringing the imagery to life with our team. Learning, put straight to work.
Harper’s BAZAAR Australia cover, made on Country.
ḺUNDU brought Elle Macpherson to Dhambaliya (Bremer Island) in East Arnhem Land for a Harper’s BAZAAR Australia cover and editorial, photographed by Simon Upton. It was ḺUNDU’s founding launch project, and our biggest in four years.
The commercial production was the mentorship. Five emerging Yolŋu creatives worked alongside industry leaders on a real masthead job, building credits, relationships and experience on Country. Cultural guidance was led by Djalinda Ulamari, and Dhimurru Aboriginal Corporation hosted the launch dinner, with 20 Yolŋu people engaged to cook and host.
